For many digital photographers, Lightroom is the go-to image processing software. It’s more affordable and compact than Photoshop, offering a reliable, efficient workflow for photographers. With Lightroom, you can easily import, catalog, and apply keywords to your images, organize and track your images' locations, and process RAW files with ease. The software also allows you to develop images non-destructively and export them in various formats for social media or print.
The course covers:
Introduction to Lightroom
Overview of the workspace and customization options
Importing files, previewing options, and automated backup features
Efficient image tracking within Lightroom
Keywording strategies and maximizing your digital assets
Image editing tips for optimal results in less time
Quick Develop and advanced editing techniques for RAW files
Creating, using, and saving custom presets
Exporting files in multiple formats
Please bring along 5-10 RAW images to work with during the session.
The course is led by D. Wiafe, an artist, educator, and the Course Leader of BA (Hons) Commercial Photography at The London College of Communication.
